Cinnaminson School Programs

  • Cinnaminson High School has had a Girls Lacrosse program since the early 1970s. The Middle School Girls program for 6th-8th graders has existed for nearly as long. The boys briefly had a high school program in the late 1970s, but folded when the existing coach departed.
  • In 2008, the momentum grew with a goal to establish a boys program at the High School and a youth club program for the town.
  • Terri Caruso, Debi Wojcik, and Brenda McLaverty were the founders and force behind the new movement.

2009

  • In February 2009, Cinnaminson Lacrosse Club was officially established with the USLacrosse, now USA Lacrosse. 2009 marked CLAX's first youth club season participating in the South Jersey Youth Lacrosse League (SJYLL). In December 2009, the founding members and Kathy Bray presented the Cinnaminson School District with a proposal to initiate a boys high school program to match with the long established girls program. However, the recommendation was denied for the 2010 and 2011 spring seasons.

2010

  • 2010 marked the first season with a full team at every age level within SJYLL.
  • Registration was $135 plus $47 for uniforms.

2011

  • Registration was $150 plus $70 for uniforms.
  • First Scoopers Clinic in June.
  • First CHS Boys Junior Varsity season.

2012

  • Registration was $150 included new uniforms.
  • First CHS Boys Varsity season.

2013

  • Registration was $150 included new uniforms.
  • There were 33 in the ScoopersClinic.
  • There were 64 girls and 100 boys.

2014

  • Registration was $150 included new uniforms.
  • There were 83 in the ScoopersClinic.
  • There were 82 girls and 113 boys.
  • Fieldhouse Open House winter season with CLAX teams.

2015

  • Registration was $150 included new uniforms.
  • There were 71 in the ScoopersClinic.
  • There were 84 girls and 116 boys.

2016

  • Registration was $150 included new uniforms.
  • There were 57 in the ScoopersClinic.
  • There were 129 girls and 140 boys.
  • First pre-season Fieldhouse Training.

2017

  • Registration was $175 plus $50 for uniforms.
  • There were 27 in the ScoopersClinic.
  • There were 124 girls and 113 boys.

2018

  • Registration was $175 plus $50 for uniforms
  • There were 22 in the ScoopersClinic.
  • There were 101 girls and 108 boys.

2019

  • Registration was $175 plus $50 for uniforms.
  • There were 40 in the ScoopersClinic.
  • There were 85 girls and 103 boys.

2020

  • Registration was $175 plus $50 for uniforms.
  • COVID Year, no Season.

2021

  • Registration was $125 plus $50 for uniforms.
  • There were 36 in the ScoopersClinic.
  • There were 62 girls and 74 boys.
  • No Pre-season Fieldhouse.

2022

  • Registration was $175 plus $50 for uniforms.
  • No pre-season Fieldhouse.

2023

  • Registration was $185 plus $50 for uniforms.
  • No pre-season Fieldhouse.

2024

  • Registration is $185 plus $50 for uniforms.

2025

  • Registration is $190 plus $55 for uniforms.
  • Transitioned to teamsnap
  • Pre season practices at Mavericks
  • New home field for 5/6 and 7/8 teams at Fountain Farms in Cinnaminson
  • First family fest on October 11 2025 to kick off registration for next season
